PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is a game of skill, reflexes, strategy, communication, and dedication. Working on improving those things is important. But this post isn’t about that. This post is about looking good doing it.
With that in mind, let’s explore the new skins coming up in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS this spring.
Ending soon
Before we get into what's coming, let's look at some items and events that will be disappearing soon.
The Jeremy Lin X PUBG skins and emote will leave the shop today, March 8. So if you are planning on getting them, you'll need to act fast.

Similarly, the Spring Formal event is on its way out (even though we're still waiting for Spring to start here in Sweden.) You only have until March 15 to complete the daily missions and earn enough points to claim the Grey Suit Coat and Pants.

If you're still hunting for the Tiger Hunter skins for the Kar98k and the SLR, don't worry. You have until the end of May 2022 to get them.
Sweet Threads
Next, let's look at my favorite new skins: Sweet Threads. These will be available from March 9, 2022 – April 27, 2022. Some sneak peeks of these pretty-in-pastel skins have been floating around on Twitter, and they're looking pretty tasty. There are several sets in this collection including Cotton Candy, Mint Chip, and Sweet Threads as well as a backpack set and a helmet set. There are also 2 new emotes.

Punk Wave
The new Survivor Pass, Punk Wave, is due to come out with the new PUBG: Battlegrounds patch, 16.2. This patch is already up on test servers, and we should see it on PC on March 16. (We'll have a whole post on the new updates for you soon.)
A mixture of official communications and leaks by data miners give us some idea of what to expect. If you don't want to spoil the surprise, don't scroll any further.

We can expect a lot of black, leather, spikes, fishnet, heavy boots, etc. Frankly, some of it looks like what I wear every day, so I'm looking forward to it. There are also new weapon skins, including what appears to be a skin to turn your crowbar into a guitar(?!) But we'll have to wait a few more days and see.
Rumors
A few other rumors are floating around the Twitterverse. While these are unconfirmed, they give us a lot to be excited about.
It looks like we'll have a few shiny new goodies to celebrate PCS6, including some new EP items.
Action RPG fans can look forward to a PUBG x Nier collection which seems like it might be packed with items and skins.
Streamers KimBlue and player Ezquelusia are pegged as the likely choices for upcoming collabs.
5th anniversary
The last thing to look forward to is the PUBG 5th Anniversary event. We've been told a full announcement will come out with details about world decorations. Still, we're expecting to hear about skins, items, and giveaways as well. Last year we got hoodies and a skin for the M416, so let's see what this year might bring.
The anniversary itself is March 23, so we don't have long to wait. Keep your eyes on the PUBG news page and the official Twitter to get the latest updates.
Which skins are you most excited for? Join us on Discord and let us know.
